Gear.
Gear: it's not everything, but it is something. In the video production arena, you've got two sides of the coin: while we often want to dazzle potential clients with our flashy new cameras and drones and fancy do-dads, we also want clients to know that it's NOT about the gear. It's about the person behind the gear, the creative mindset they bring. The gear in their hands is less relevant when their creative talent is strong.
Goodwill Industries
In January of 2020 (before any of us knew what was coming) Sliced Tomato Productions began work on a project for Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina. Goodwill was looking to capture a few personal stories of individuals whose lives had been positively impacted by their organization. The videos were meant to be shown at their annual fundraising event in October.
It’s Really Quite Simple!
Making just the right video can be difficult. Sure, you could it on your own. Smart phones do incredible things these days. Most computers have basic editing software pre-installed. Heck, most phones have editing software. But is that really your best bet?
